His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, The Prince of the Riyadh Region, patronized the closing ceremony of the 18th Founders’ Meeting of the King Salman Center for Disability Research, hosted by the founding member National Industrialization Company (Tasnee), at the Hilton Hotel in Riyadh.

Upon his arrival, His Royal Highness was received by His Royal Highness Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Special Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Center, along with the Center’s officials.

Following the Saudi national anthem, the ceremony began with a recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an. Afterwards, Mr. Musab Al-Muhaideb, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Industrialization Company, delivered a speech expressing his gratitude to His Royal Highness the Governor of Riyadh for patronizing the meeting.

Al-Muhaideb also commended the efforts of the company’s former Chairman for his contributions in strengthening Tasnee’s standing and enhancing its national and social role.

His Royal Highness and the attendees then watched a video presentation highlighting the Center’s journey, achievements, and scientific research initiatives. This was followed by the signing of four cooperation agreements with the following entities:

Ministry of Transport and Logistics Services – to promote innovation, support entrepreneurship, and empower target groups through pioneering national programs and initiatives.

Human Rights Commission – to protect the rights of persons with disabilities and advance research and innovation in their empowerment.

Riyadh Chamber of Commerce – for a strategic partnership to enhance funding, research, and comprehensive empowerment.

Saudi Special Olympics Federation – to advance scientific research, community service, and sports initiatives that empower persons with disabilities.

These agreements aim to develop joint research, awareness, and applied programs that contribute to improving quality of life and enhancing services provided to persons with disabilities in various fields, in alignment with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, His Royal Highness honored the participating entities, after which group photos were taken featuring Their Royal Highnesses, the founders, and supporters — a scene that reflected the spirit of unity and belonging that distinguishes the King Salman Center for Disability Research community.

It is worth noting that the meeting was marked by a warm and familial atmosphere, bringing together the founders and the Center’s leadership from across the Kingdom, along with the Center’s partners from ministries, government agencies, national institutions, private-sector companies, businessmen, and members of the Center’s working committees.
