The King Salman Center for Disability Research is pleased to announce the indexing of the Journal of Disability Research (JDR), affiliated with the center, in the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), one of the leading global databases specializing in indexing high-quality, peer-reviewed open access journals.

The DOAJ includes more than 21,000 scientific journals from 136 countries, with 13,694 journals published without fees. It also hosts over 10 million research papers in 89 different languages. This achievement reflects the center's commitment to expanding access to scientific knowledge and promoting transparency in disability-related research, contributing to the dissemination of high-quality, freely accessible content for researchers and stakeholders worldwide.

This development further strengthens the journal's position and marks a step towards indexing JDR in the Web of Science database. It underscores the center's role in supporting open access research and fostering global academic collaboration.
