Dr. Majid Al-Fayyad is the Executive General Supervisor of the King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre in Saudi Arabia. He obtained his Bachelor of Medicine degree from King Saud University in Riyadh and completed a fellowship program in Pediatrics from Tufts University in Boston. He also completed a Pediatric Cardiology fellowship from Columbia University in New York. Dr. Al-Fayyad received his specialization certification from the American Board of Pediatrics in 1996 and the American Sub-Board of Pediatric Cardiology in 2000. He further completed his professional training in Electrophysiology at Baylor University in Houston.
In 2015, he earned a Master’s degree in Medical Administration from the University of Southern California. Dr. Al-Fayyad is an active researcher whose work has garnered multiple grants from prestigious institutions. He has published numerous articles and abstracts in peer-reviewed medical journals. He has held leadership and administrative roles in healthcare, contributing significantly to the improvement of healthcare standards. He is also a member of various governmental and professional committees.
In 2017, a royal decree appointed him as the Executive General Supervisor of King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre.
