
His Royal Highness Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Special Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the King Salman Nonprofit Foundation, and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the King Salman Center for Disability Research, received Her Royal Highness Princess Dr. Haya bint Khalid bin Bandar, Senior Vice President of Research at Hevolution Foundation, accompanied by Dr. Bashayer Al-Mubarak, Director of Scientific Research, and Dr. Youssef Mal, Life Sciences Scientist.
At the beginning of the meeting, Prince Sultan welcomed Princess Haya and her team, stressing the importance of cooperation and integration between the Center and national institutions to achieve a wider impact in the fields of innovation, scientific research, and sustainable development.
The meeting reviewed the most important research activities and programs carried out by the Center, as well as the partnerships and alliances it has established with numerous universities, relevant entities, and leading international centers specializing in disability research under the track “Boldness Toward the Future.” It also highlighted programs focused on empowering persons with disabilities, integrating them into society, and providing an enabling, barrier-free environment to facilitate their daily lives and activities, making them active contributors within their communities.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Her Royal Highness Princess Dr. Haya bint Khalid bin Bandar, on behalf of herself and her accompanying team, expressed gratitude to His Royal Highness Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz and the Center’s leadership for the warm reception. She praised the Center’s ambitious vision of achieving leadership in specialized scientific and technological research, emphasizing the importance of strengthening cooperation between the Center and Hevolution to realize institutional integration and serve persons with disabilities, in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
